The City of Sunrise Beach Village, Texas, invites Civil Engineers, Multi-disciplinary Firms, and any other qualified professionals registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers to submit qualifications to provide professional design engineering and construction support services for the installation of a new secondary water tank and miscellaneous waterline replacements for our city-owned water system. WATER TANK REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS:

This is a reminder to all citizens about the City Drought Management Plan as described in Ordinance 324. It places limitations on water use and describes other aspects of our efforts to conserve water. At this time Stage 1 Water Restrictions are in effect. Please take time to familiarize yourself with the requirements of this plan, and take all practical steps to conserve.

The LCRA WaterSmart program offers rebates to help offset the cost of upgrades that help save water, as well as irrigation recommendations and other useful information.

After multiple rounds of working sessions and meetings, the governing body of the City of Sunrise Beach Village approved a Municipal Solid Waste Ordinance and a city-wide contract with Waste Connections to provide trash, garbage collection, and recycling services. New collection services began on January 3, 2023.

This is a wonderful development for our city. It means affordable and expanded services that many of you have been asking for.

Your governing body has worked hard to bring this new service to our community. And, while it may not suit everyone’s specific wish, we believe it delivers great benefit for our residents and community, and we are eager to see it come to fruition. In the meantime, we encourage all residents and owners to support the city staff as they work toward a successful implementation.
