The proposed annual City and Water budgets, beginning in October 2016, will maintain our City’s infrastructure and provide for the safety and wellbeing of our citizens. Although there are many additional areas and items on which tax dollars could be spent, this budget proposal keeps property taxes as low as possible by focusing on what must be done to reach these essential goals. This budget is a proven one based on a process used over the past several years with good success and minimum tax increases. We hope you will review the budget details and then attend one of the budget hearings scheduled for 2:30pm on Aug 25th and Sep 1st at the Sunrise Beach Civic Center.
