The Sunrise Beach Lawn Chair Brigade is “precision drill marching” brigade using a lawn chair as their prop.
Founded in November 1995, they are a hard working group of men and women who serve as goodwill ambassadors for Sunrise Beach, located on Lake LBJ.
They have proudly represented the community in numerous parades and performances in the Central Texas area and their efforts have been recognized with citations and honors including several first-place awards and even a few designating them as the most unique group in a parade.
Current officers are: Tracy Gurley, President and Jamie Bishop Emerson, Treasurer. Many of the original members from 1995 have “aged out”, so they are currently training new members and would welcome any who would like to join the group to be a Beacher!
