On May 28, the City had the privilege of honoring our own Police Chief, Laurie Brock. An award initiated by her sworn staff, and enthusiastically supported by the Mayor, Chief Brock was honored as a progressive, compassionate, and staunch defender of law and order. Laurie is well known throughout Llano County and in the greater law enforcement community as an ethical public servant with extremely high standards, which she imparts to her command and sworn staff. Her unwavering dedication to our citizens, and commitment to community policing, has been recognized and lauded by many members of our City, and rightfully so.
